TITLE:  Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:            

  1. High school diploma
  2. Current RBT certification required
  3. Physical ability to perform tasks including walking, running, standing, sitting, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, pulling, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  4. Ability to maintain excellent attendance records, ensuring reliable and punctual presence in the workplace.
  5. Demonstrated competency in assigned responsibilities.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as may be appropriate and acceptable.

 

REPORTS TO: Director of Special Education

 

COMPENSATION: $23.00 per hour

 

SUPERVISES: None

 

JOB GOAL: Responsible for providing one-on-one therapy addressing goals prescribed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance
  • Provide direct 1:1 support to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Collect and analyze data to track progress and make data-driven decisions
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with BCBAs and team members to ensure effective interventions
  • Communicate with parents, caregivers, and stakeholders regarding progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and progress reports
  • Attend regular supervision and training sessions
