We announce the following SECONDARY vacancy in the Rochester Community Schools.  Applications will be accepted until filled.

Rochester Adult Education

.5 Counselor

Monday-Thursday, 3:00 pm-7:30pm

No Fridays

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate preferred.
• Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling.
• Ability and skills necessary to organize, maintain and evaluate programs for students.
• Possess a high level of public presence and excellent public relations skills.
• Has knowledge of alternative and adult learning theories.
• Keep accurate documentation
• Perform testing and student assessment
• Evaluate transcript data
• Advise students on courses
• Complete registration information
• Procure follow-up data on individual students
• Oversee & Assist in compiling/entering MAERS data
• Establish and maintain contact with community partnerships
• Maintain and improve student post-secondary education and employment  partnership services
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

SALARY: $25.00/hour - $32.00/hour
