We announce the following SECONDARY TEACHING vacancy in the Rochester Community Schools for the 2024-25 school year. Applications will be accepted until filled.
Adult Education English Teacher
Monday and Wednesday 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. and/or
Tuesday and Thursday 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must hold valid Michigan Teaching Certificate in English, BA (6-12)
- Must meet NCLB requirements for Highly
- Understand how to embed technology on a regular basis using on-line (internet based) programs
- Incorporate State content expectations in all lessons and follow District curriculum
- Use data to drive instruction and utilize available technology in day to day presentation of lessons
- Assess students and analyze needs and progress
- Maintain appropriate records
- Participate in special instructional activities to meet program and student goals
- Maintain confidentiality
SALARY: $25.00 - $32.00/hour
